Strip 'n Tease
Strip ’n Tease is a creative tool that offers a series of different aesthetic and functional proposals to its users and involves them in the joy and fun of designing to them.
I would like to give the process of choice and creative activity back to the end user of the object, in order to free the furniture from the moment in which designers are asked to decide as if they were God rather than mere consultants or trusted advisors. The final choice of how the piece will finally look is left to the tastes and needs of the person who uses it. Strip ’n Tease is a creative tool that offers a series of different aesthetic and functional proposals to its users and involves them in the joy and fun of designing to them. The act of creating becomes a playful trial - and- error game that allows things to be changed in an instant. The collection consists of simple magnetic furniture with different sets of patterns, effects and functions. The patterns are designed to fit all sides of the furniture. In this way the furniture does not remain a solitary object but, rather, becomes one with the architecture.
